G + G is proud to announce that managing partner, Gunnar Gundersen, has been appointed by the United States Commission on Civil Rights to its California Advisory Committee.
Gunnar has served the United States in the past working for US Senator Gordon Smith (Oregon) and as a law clerk to Judge Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Civil rights has been an important part of Gunnar's private-practice career, especially his pro bono work. As a Black multiethnic lawyer, Gunnar understands the importance of supporting and advocating for the civil rights of all Americans. He is looking forward to helping the Commission in its efforts to stay informed about civil-rights issues in California.
